For those members who were laid off and had your health care insurance inadvertently cancelled, the Company is aware of the problem and assured us that your benefits will be reactivated this week.  Please let us know if you have any issues and we will assist you.

Laid off CWA 1170 member Dustin Newman will be a special guest of Congresswoman Louise Slaughter at the President’s State of the Union Address tomorrow in Washington, DC.  Dustin is flying out today with his family and is very excited to attend tomorrow’s event.  His situation, along with our other members laid off, highlights that corporate tax cuts won’t necessarily keep people employed nor guarantee investments by corporations.  Louise has always been supportive of our Local and the Rochester Labor Community.  We thank her for her continued support.
