Membership reminder, Thursday, February 8, 2018 is a Union Activity Day for the entire membership. The following meetings have been scheduled
8:15am, 10am, and 2:00pm at the Union Hall
5:30pm at the RIT Inn and Conference Center at 5257 W. Henrietta Rd.
The Agenda for this meeting includes the following:
- Review and approve the 2017-2018 budget
- Nomination and Election of unit officers
- Unit 2 Desk Techs
- Unit 4 Suburban
- Unit 6 Cable Splicers, Lineman, Building &Powers techs and Garage Mechanics
- We will also be holding nominations for vacant positions created by the force reduction
- Unit 5 East and Unit 7 Vice Chair of Steward’s unit.
Health Economics representatives will be there to discuss changes to the Dental Plan.
Updates will be provided on Frontier as well.
The rest of the agenda has been mailed out. Please attend this very important meeting.
I have been working for weeks with Tracy Owen from Frontier to get the Health Insurance benefits activated for those involuntary impacted by the force reduction, as of yesterday your benefits should’ve been reinstated. If any laid off member experienced medical costs, which should’ve been covered, we will help facilitate your reimbursements with the Company.
