Tape Release 11/5/19

Today is Election Day across the region.  Please take the time to vote if you haven’t already done so.

I want to give you this to think about, as you determine who you’re going to vote for and why.

Recently, not one Republican candidate running for county office walked the picket lines or attended any of the rallies to support the UAW represented workers.  Why?  Because workers are beneath them.  So, when you need support fighting for your job, why would you consider voting for Cheryl DiNolfo for County Exec?  A woman who declined the Rochester Labor Council invitation to be interviewed.

Adam Bello has addressed our Executive Board in our Union Hall, walked picket lines, and has spoken at rallies.  He’s the candidate who you need, to represent you.  There are other great candidates in County Legislature to vote for this year.

Dan Maloney in District 6 in Greece has spent his whole life on the shop floor and in a union hall.  He just helped lead a successful 6-week strike for UAW members.

John Baynes in Penfield – a teacher and local president for years fighting for jobs and teachers in Fairport.

Mark Steverson, a former police officer and union member, running for office in Chili.

You have the opportunity today to vote in new leaders with courage, character, and integrity, who will fight for you.

Please take into consideration what I’ve said, as you will need all the support you can get, to get a contract, which is just months away.

This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your union tape.  The place where we’re union and proud of it.
