As most of you are aware, Frontier has been experiencing financial difficulty and the Company’s share price is in serious decline. There are many rumors about the possibility of bankruptcy, the future of CEO Dan McCarthy and what it means for CWA members and retirees.
The Local and National Union representatives are monitoring the situation closely. We have had previous experience with bankruptcy under Global Crossing. The National has been down this road with many employers including Windstream who is currently undergoing restructuring.
The National Union has assured us that they will be prepared and act quickly to protect the members and retirees if Frontier files for bankruptcy and protection from creditors.
The Retiree Christmas Luncheon is Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 at the Sweet Briar Lodge, 2888 Ridgeway Ave, lunch begins at twelve noon. Reservations are a must, please call the Union office no later than December 6th, 2019.
