Tape Release 11/21/22
Membership and Retiree Updates
To all members, your Union has received notification that the Company intends to implement GPS monitoring devices on all Company vehicles here in Rochester the week of December 21st. I’ve sent a cease and desist letter along with a demand to bargain over this issue. The Company has indicated that all vehicles in fact means all vehicles, no matter what department including management. Initial statements from Corporate says the initiative is to control idling and save on fuel, vehicle maintenance, and dispatching. The Company’s efforts would be better served fixing the no light, training, lack of equipment, and other customer service issues.
The retirees are holding their annual Christmas Luncheon on Friday, December 9th, 2022 at Noon at the following location:
Sweet Briar Lodge
2888 Ridgeway Ave.
