  • Tape Release 11/1/22

Open enrollment for Frontier active members is in process ending on November 10th, retirees should be receiving notification soon. Please make sure you review your selections carefully as this is the only time outside a qualifying event to make any changes.

Some of the changes taking place this year.

Employee contribution towards your health care plan is going up 1%, from 22% to 23%, this will result in a small increase to your weekly contribution to your benefits. The Company during bargaining wanted employees to pay 25%.

Coinsurance for Hospital inpatient, Diagnostic Radiology, and Outpatient surgery remains at 10% coinsurance, the Company had wanted 15%.

Emergency Room co-pay is increasing from $150 to $175. Office visit and specialist Copays remain at $30 and $40 respectively.

We still have a top-notch health insurance plan as the rest of the universe has access to high deductible plans only.

We will be sending out the annual postcard for the Union’s Disability plan, as members have the right to sign up or cancel for 2023.

This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape, the place where we’re Union and proud of it.
