Membership Updates:
Frontier – We have been advised this morning by one of the outside techs that they’ve been notified that truck take home is ending. We will investigate further today as the Company needs to provide advance notice for the discontinuance.
We have also been notified that Frontier is declaring a surplus of three commercial support clerks, any volunteers have until end of business this Friday to submit paperwork.
Our CWA brothers and sisters have reached a tentative agreement with Frontier on a new 4-year agreement. Details and summary have been posted to our Facebook page.
Lastly, we would request all available Members and Retirees join us on Labor Day and march in the annual Labor Day Parade. Meeting place is on Meigs St. between Park and East Avenues between 10am and 11am. Please come out to support your Union and the Labor Movement.
