The Union filed a grievance months ago in regard to the Company’s failure to withhold Union dues from the annual bonus payments in March. After months of communications with Labor, compensation and payroll, the Company finally got the figures right. Everyone will be receiving an email with notification that Union dues will be held this week and the amount. Just like regular weekly dues, the withholding is 1.5% of what the bonus was. This will be withheld in this week’s paycheck.
Again, a reminder that the Labor Day parade is quickly approaching. A post card was mailed to everyone, as a reminder discounted tickets to Seabreeze will be available to everyone that marches. Hope to see you there.
