Retiree update:
Retirees, your Union is willing to assist you with your federal withholding tax on your monthly pension checks, as the federal government changed the tax tables last month.  We have W4 forms at the office and can provide some guidance on the matter. Please call in with any questions.

We are in discussions with the Company about extending the work at home agreement, which expires April 30th until May 31st.  We anticipate an agreement in the next day or two on the matter. The tape will be updated with new information once an agreement is reached.

Today is Workers Memorial Day and a time for remembrance and activism. We remember the 30 CWA members who have died in NY and New Jersey from the Covid 19 virus over the last month. We remember others who have been killed on the job and we remember CWA Local 1170 member Thomas Luciano who was killed on March 30th, 1979 in a random senseless act of gun violence.  We must continue to advocate and fight for safety on the job.
