Rochester Telephone Retiree Eugene Phillips passed away on Tuesday, March 26th at the age of 88. Eugene retired in 1986 with 32 years of service and was a PBX tech at the time of his retirement. He was living in Caledonia at the time of his passing.
The following arrangements have been announced: A Graveside service will be held this Thursday at 2pm in Maplewood Cemetery (150 Middle Rd.) in Henrietta.
On behalf of the Union, we extend our condolences to Eugene’s family and friends.
A mobilizer meeting is going to be held Thursday, April 4th at 5:30pm at the RIT Inn & Conference Center, food will be served. Please call in to the Hall to let us know if you’ll be joining us.
The Union filed 19 grievances on behalf of the Sales and Service techs who were called in and presented with a counseling memo for unacceptable job performance. The grievances were filed at first step with the individual coaches. To date, we haven’t received any responses to schedule meetings.
