Tape Release Monday, April 8th, 2019
Last Thursday over 40 stewards, mobilizers and officers met to discuss matters at Frontier that are important to your job and families. We need to get back to the basics in these uncertain times. Wear Red on Thursdays, attend meetings, talk to your Stewards and help out where you can. Things are happening every day and there is little to no communication between the Union and the Company. Sales and Service techs, please be aware that the Company will be making calls on performance. You need to ask the question, if this conversation can lead to discipline, then call for a steward. It is likely that the Company is documenting the contents of your conversation. Don’t take these conversations lightly. As for everyone else, if you see changes taking place, please call your steward and executive board member they need to know what is going on. Changes are taking place in every job title.
I want to thank all the members and retirees for your generous contributions to this year’s Annual United Way workplace campaign. So far, we raised over $112,000.00 an unbelievable amount. Thanks to our campaign coordinators Fritz and Bill Netchke whose leadership make this possible along with the solicitors. A great effort by all.
A membership meeting is being called for Thursday, April 25th, this will be a Union Activity Day for the entire membership. The agenda will be announced shortly.
