CWA Retirement Plan Update:
Every active Frontier member will be receiving a notification inviting you to an informational meeting Tuesday March 19th, 2024 at 3441 W. Henrietta Rd., 2nd floor, Room 221 A and B, at the following times:
8am
9:30am
Noon
1:30pm
Each member is being designated a time slot as the room only holds about 50 people. Please show up for your designated time slot only, which will be communicated via email from HR. For all members who are on vacation, sick or otherwise can’t make it, we will work to answer any questions and set up an alternative meeting if necessary.
For those who are retired, left the Company, and have account balances, the Union is working on a meeting specifically for you. Once we have secured a location, the invitations will go out in the mail.
Packages are being mailed this week which will include, notices on the termination of the plan, forms for distribution as well as pages of tax instructions. We will work with each of you to help you understand the steps necessary for you to take. Your options will include the following:
Cash Distribution with tax implications as described in the packet;
Rollover funds into an Individual Retirement Account;
Rollover to Frontier’s 401k plan with Fidelity.
Everyone will need to fill out a form, the expected termination date of the plan is April 30th, 2024. After termination each active Frontier member will receive the 8% contribution weekly into your 401k. If you’re currently not participating in the 401k, you may want to login into your account and get informed on your investment elections. The Union is in the process of interviewing financial advisors to be a resource for you on financial matters.
Stay tuned for further updates.
Retirees who have Frontier telephone and internet service, please check your March bills closely. I’ve had three retirees bring forth bills this month where credits have been dropped. We can assist you in getting those fixed.
This is your President John Pusloskie, thanking you for calling your Union tape and be safe everyone.
