Membership and Retiree updates:

In an attempt to clarify who is a participant in the CWA Retirement Plan.  The CWA Retirement Plan is the plan administered by the Burke Group; it came about after the freezing of the Frontier Pension plan in 1996.  My messages about the termination of this plan only impact those who are active employees and have left the Company with a balance in the plan again administered by the Burke Group.  The monthly pension payments from Frontier are not impacted by this decision and will continue monthly as you currently receive them.  I hope this help clarifies matters.  If you have a question as to whether you have monies in an account with the Burke Group, please call into the Union Hall and we can clarify for you at that time.
