Frontier Bargaining Update:

The Contract is set to expire in 11 days and today will be just the second meeting between the Company and the Union.  We expect the Company to respond to our non-economic proposals today.

In order to be prepared to move negotiations forward, the Local Officers have called for a Special Frontier Membership Meeting for next Thursday, October 14th, 2021.  Meeting times and locations are being mailed and emailed today.  On the agenda will be a Frontier Bargaining Update and a Strike Vote.

The Strike Vote will be taken by secret ballot at the meeting.  CWA Locals in California have already taken a strike vote and our Brothers and Sisters in Connecticut are taking theirs next week.  The Officers are still discussing any accommodations that can be made for those that have reservations about public gatherings.

We need a 100% authorization to show the Company that we’re united and committed to secure a fair contract.  An Executive Board Meeting has been called for tonight at 5pm and a Mobilizer Meeting tomorrow at the same time.
