Membership updates:

CWA 1170 Retirement Plan Update

For those active and separated members who chose the rollover option to Frontiers 401K, the forms have been processed and checks have been mailed to Fidelity’s processing center.  It is anticipated that you’ll see the rollover amounts in your 401K within the next 7 business days.  For those who selected the cash and traditional rollover, the checks are in the process of being cut and mailed.  Please check your mailbox every day.  The customary disclosure is you’ll receive the check mailed to you within 7 to 10 business days.

Memorial Day Scheduling of Frontier Sales and Service Techs

The Union is aware of techs being mandated to work on this day with the threat of possible discipline if the assignment is turned down.  We believe the Company is serious in its threats and advise members to work if they can, provide a valid reason if you can’t, and respond to the Company’s phone calls.  We will represent anyone who is disciplined to the fullest and our Stewards are already working on grievances.

Frontier Bargaining

The Company has presented multiple proposals seeking concessions.  We have requested information and are scheduled to meet with the Company tomorrow.
