Frontier Membership Mtg/Voting Notice

Frontier Membership Updates:

The following dates and times have been set to cast your votes for Ratification on the terms and conditions of the Verizon/NY Agreement.  The CWA Legal department, after further review, has determined that you’ll be voting on one agreement, which is the Verizon New York agreement due to the terms of our agreement which includes transition, wage slotting, retiree health care and subcontracting language being incorporated into the final Verizon New York Agreement.  The highlights of those agreements have been emailed to every member with an email address on file.  Local 1170 will be conducting our ratification votes in accordance with our Bylaws that require a secret ballot vote.  We’ve expanded access to voting, as final ratification for Verizon NY has been set for Friday, March 27^th.  It’s extremely important that every member vote.

Wednesday, March 18^th
8:30am and 2:00pm at the Union Hall
5:30pm at the RIT Inn and Conference Center, 5257 W. Henrietta Rd.

Thursday, March 19^th
8:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, and 4:30pm at the Union Hall

Wednesday, March 25^th
8:30am, Noon and 5:00pm at the Union Hall

The Union has emailed an updated summary including wage and other Frontier vs Verizon comparisons. The Union will be reviewing the summary of highlights at the Wednesday’s (18th) membership meetings and allowing for voting on Thursday the 19^th and Wednesday the 25^th.
