Membership updates:

The Union has received notification from Frontier’s Labor representative that the 2024 performance bonus is expected to be paid out by March 31st.  For reference last year’s bonus was paid out on March 11^th and it customarily is paid by March 15^th.  It is expected that the payout will be 4.5% of the top rate annual base for each job classification.  Once we hear on the actual payout date, membership will be updated.

You must be on the payroll as of payout in order to be eligible unless you retired in 2024 whereby, you’ll receive a prorated amount base on full months worked last year.

We have scheduled bargaining dates with Frontier next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as our current extension expires on March 15^th.  The issues were reviewed with the members at membership meeting on January 30^th whereby the members have authorized a strike if necessary.

I have spoken to CWA Local 1298 president from Connecticut and their contract has been extended until May 31^st.  They have made no progress on contracting or any other items as well.
