Tape Release 5/22/23
Tape Release Monday May 22nd, 2023
Frontier Membership and Retiree updates:
The following is a list of items that we’ve been working on. Frontier is in a state of turnover right now and we have to stay on top of the changes happening.
A few management changes that have taken place in the last month. Sr. Labor Relations manager Byron Geils with oversight for Rochester has retired and replaced by Labor Relations manager Mark Fusco from Connecticut.
Marian Wyand Vice President of Commercial operations has been replaced by someone from Texas and Melanie Williams VP of Operations from the Eastern Region. All executives that we worked hard to build relationships with that now have to be reestablished.
The following is a list of items that your Union is working on:
- Unanswered grievances from February, April, and May
- 2022 Contract proof and to printer
- Retiree Bonus
- Retiree phone and internet discounts
- Frontier’s motor vehicle policy
- Disability Payments for members
The Local has also convened the ByLaw Committee which consist of the following members: Kevin Blazey, Michelle Damiani, and Jim Bice. They’ll be reviewing the bylaws, working with the members and Executive Board as to what makes sense from a representational body and how technology impacts the governance of the Union.
We have filed a grievance for retirees who’ve been denied negotiated discounts for phone and internet service. If you’ve recently switched to Fiber services, please contact us.
This is your President John Pusloskie, thanking you for calling your Union tape and have a Safe day everyone.
