I would like to take the time on behalf of the Union to thank and extend our appreciation to the following members whose last day of work was Friday January 5th due to the recent force reduction. I cannot thank those enough who were actively involved in the Union over the years. Your membership and participation has made us strong. Unfortunately, we have 11 members who are being laid off. The Company eliminated 30 positions bringing the total to 55 in the past 12 months that have been eliminated. The following is a list of the volunteers and those laid off on Friday.

The Union is in process of getting legal counsel to help assist with the unemployment filings as well as getting the New York State work force development to come in and provide consultation for those laid off to assist with Job search’s, resume writing and such. Once dates have been confirmed everyone will be contacted.
