A communication went out by the New Frontier, to say that there has been a computer glitch and the phone and internet discount for members and retirees may have been removed from your bills. Please double check your Bill this month to see if you’ve impacted. We will also be reaching out to the Company on this.
Last week we met with the Company on the following grievances:
- Unilateral change to Work at Home rules forcing member to take vacation or make up time due to Computer issues.
- Contract work violations, the Company has contracted out multiple fiber build outs on CAF projects without providing the Union Notification and opportunity to meet.
- The Company violated the agreement on Monday July 20th to avoid Mandatory overtime, by not working all techs who made themselves available.
- The Company has unreasonably denied members fiber splicing training in violation of the contract.
