Tape Release 7/14/2020
I’m saddened to announce the passing of Retiree Richard Hogan. Dick retired in February of 2002 as a PBX tech with over 42 years of service. He was an active member of the CWA Local 1170 retiree club serving as an officer for almost 20 years. Friends may call this Saturday, July 18th from 11am to 12:30pm at the Anthony Funeral home, 1031 Ridge Rd, Webster, NY. On behalf of the Union we extend our condolences to Dick’s family and friends.
Frontier updates:
Frontier’s top executives have made a proposal to the bankruptcy court that is scheduled to be heard this Thursday, July 16th requesting over 16 million dollars in additional incentive compensation this year, this is on top of 8 Million dollars in bonuses that they’ve already paid themselves and 5 Million in salary they are due to receive. The Union is opposing these payments and filing our objections. We are asking our members to OBJECT as well. An email will be sent to everyone with our request. We are working under an extension without a raise. How in their right minds do Senior executives think this is fair and equitable? The simple answer to that is they don’t care as long as they get theirs. The Company should be rewarding their employees who have kept the Company afloat through years of mismanagement and under-investment. MANAGEMENT DIDN’T DO IT ALONE. WE ARE WHAT’S RIGHT WITH THIS COMPANY. We are going to invoice Frontier for $1,895 for each CWA member, which is equivalent to the management bonus payouts. We are giving you something to participate in. Please don’t complain if you’re not willing to take action.
This is your President John Pusloskie, thanking you for calling your Union tape, And we are CWA STRONG.
