Tape Release 11/30/18

Tape Release Friday November 30, 2018

Retirees only, a couple of days are left to call in and reserve your spot for the annual retiree Christmas luncheon, which is taking place Wednesday December 5th, beginning at 11:30am at the Sweet Briar Lodge at 2888 Ridgeway Ave.  Please join us for a great couple of hours.

The Union this week settled the M6 arbitration case with Frontier that was grieved two years ago.  A meeting has been scheduled for December 5th with the Network Carrier work group at the Union hall, starting at 5:30pm.  Also, a meeting for the Night guys is scheduled for Thursday, December 6th between 8am-8:30am.

The terms of the settlement will be reviewed.  The Company agreed that all the provisioning for Rochester that were at issue, will be performed by a member of the bargaining unit. I want to thank your Stewards Ron Eygabroad, Carl Ellis, and CWA member Mike Miceli for their hard work on this case.  They spent many hours on this case in support of their work group.

Next Tuesday a second step grievance hearing will be held with Frontier.  On the Agenda will be the Unjust termination of Brian Hart, Overtime bypasses for four sales and service techs who were offered 4-hour assignments and then pulled back, and John Gilbert from Buildings performing craft work.

This is your President John Pusloskie, thanking you for calling your Union tape.  Remember when workers win we all win.
