Membership Updates:

A reminder that Wednesday, July 20th is a Union Activity Day as Membership Meetings have been scheduled throughout the day in order to conduct our business.  Meetings have been scheduled for 8:30am and 2:00 pm at the Union Hall and 5:30pm at the RIT Inn and Conference Center.  We will have someone manning the ballot box from 8am to 4:30pm at the Union Hall if someone wants to stop in and vote between those hours.

Also, the Company has mandated overtime for Sales and Service techs on this past Friday, Saturday and this Monday.  The Company’s recent decision to surplus 37 techs doesn’t artificially create an emergent condition in which they can Mandate at will.  Also, if such an emergency existed, they should’ve asked for volunteers this past Sunday, which they didn’t. The Union will be grieving the situation.
