Membership updates:

The Company has notified the following individuals that they’ve been approved for the severance in regard to the recent force reductions.  They are the following;

The Company suspended the Communications Coordinator 1 surplus as it weighs the surplus at other locations around the country

The last day of work will be June 30th, I want to thank everyone for their membership and participation in this Union, many good years have been served.

Retirees who are waiting on your March Bonus checks which were stopped payment.  I’ve been told that checks were issued on Tuesday and mailed on Wednesday.  Those who are due money and have any issues, please call the Hall.

We’re also working with the Company to have the Union dues amount withheld that should’ve been withheld in March and adjustment will be seen in an upcoming paycheck.

We also have tickets available for $10 each for Union Night at Frontier Field on Saturday July 8th, gates open at 4:30pm, first pitch at 6:05pm.  Tickets can be reserved by contacting the office.

Lastly, I’m saddened to announce the passing of Retiree Frank Chiella.  Frank retired in 1989 as a switch tech with 37 years of service.  Frank was a proud WWII veteran and 95 years of age at the time of his passing.
