Tape Release 6/11/2021
Today I’d like to take the time to recognize our latest retiree of Local 1170 Robert Folts Jr. Bob officially retired yesterday on June 10th as a Network Carrier tech with over 34 years of service. On behalf of the Union, I want to wish Bob and his wife well in retirement. Bob’s father also retired from Rochester Telephone with 34 years of service and his mother was a retiree as well. Certainly, a family that has given a great deal over the years.
In other news:
The Company will be transferring 8 Sales and Service techs to Cable Splicing beginning Monday and 2 Lineman. We are also working with the Company on filling vacancies due to recent retirements and resignations as well as the Company will be soliciting for volunteers to work overtime on Monday, July 5th.
