To all Retirees:

 

Please be aware of heavily marketed Medicare plans that you see on tv or mailings to your house.  The federal government extended the Medicare sign up period to March 1st and companies like Well Care are taking advantage of it.  We recently had a retiree respond to a Well Care Medicare Advantage advertisement and his MVP Gold insurance was cancelled with Frontier.  To be clear, if you sign up with another Medicare Advantage Plan, your Frontier sponsored plan will get cancelled.  These plans sound great $0 premium, they are nothing more than Medicare Plans Part A and B.  Your Frontier sponsored plans are much better, even though there is a monthly premium.  If you have any questions, please call the office.

 

Also, there is a major scam going on where unemployment insurance claims are getting filed on your behalf, don’t ask me how but it’s happening.  It has happened both to my wife and I.  If it has happened to you, it may not be a bad idea to pull your credit report to see if any other information or your identity has been stolen.
