Tape Release 10/30/26 – Important Frontier Benefits Updates
Membership updates:
The Union has been working with the Company on the 2027 vacation selection process. A shortened window to select vacation will be necessary. Information needs to be loaded manually as Verizon’s automated process will not be readily available until next year. Please start reviewing your selections with your family this weekend as some rules may be different this year. Full weeks will be selected first, single days and splits will not be selected until second round. An email will be sent likely early next week with meeting times scheduled where selections will be made at the meetings.
An email went to all employees today with important dates and timelines that address open enrollment for benefits, 401k, conversion of payroll and direct deposit information. It is very much being treated as a new employee enrollment.
The company has hired 25 sales and service techs, 21 regular full time and 4 temporary. We’ve also had conversations with the Company about elimination of FTTH contractors and for the first time in three years, there were zero contractors here this week.
We have information concerning our medical plan options and have requested a Verizon benefit specialist be available prior to open enrollment to answer any questions.
This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape.
