2026 United Way Campaign
Frontier Members and Retirees,
The Local 1170 CWA 2026 United Way Fund Drive is about to begin again. Local 1170 CWA has always been an important contributor to United Way and the greater Rochester community. We could not have done it without the continued support of our Members and Retirees.
The annual United Way campaign kicks off this week so we will be calling you soon to discuss your 2026 donations. We would like to again thank you for making a world of difference for Rochester and with your past donation. Rochester is coming together now to help people in need, and we need your support.
This year’s campaign is as important as ever for the Community Fund. The Community Fund helps so many different agencies that are there to support our areas less fortunate, elderly, and children, in so many different aspects such as meeting the basic needs for our homeless, domestic violence, financial distress or resources for loved ones with disabilities. A few of the agencies that receive funding and take numerous calls for help are The American Red Cross, Hillside Children’s Center, Visiting Nurse Signature Care, just to name a few. Without your support of the Community Fund, these types of services wouldn’t be able to reach as many people as they do.
The Local 1170 CWA Campaign has always been a great success thanks to all of our Union members and family. We are asking for your support again for the 2026 campaign and we thank you for your continued support and generosity.
We are also reaching out to our retirees for support of the 2026 Campaign. Simply send your donation check, made payable to The United Way, mailed to the Union Hall: 4061 W. Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14623. Our solicitors will complete all of the necessary paperwork for you.
