Membership and Retiree Updates:

Update on the Verizon acquisition:
The Public Service Commission is scheduled to make a decision on Verizon and Frontier’s joint petition to a change of control of Frontier’s properties to Verizon on December 18^th.  In addition to job guarantees with CWA, Verizon has also agreed to multiyear investments in its deployment of Fiber to the home.  These conditions were in addition to several others that the Union deems positive for our members.

Retiree Christmas Luncheon:

A reminder for Retirees, please RSVP to the Union Hall this week for the Christmas Luncheon taking place next Wednesday, December 10^th at Ridgemont Country Club.
