Tape Release 3/19/25

Hello Brothers & Sisters, this is Vice President Rich Winter.  The post office and postal workers are being threatened with being dismantled and privatized.  We are encouraging all members to show our support to keep the USPS as an independent, self-sufficient agency.  There will be rallies on Thursday, March 20^th from 4-6pm and Sunday, March 23^rd from 1-4pm at the main post office, 1335 Jefferson Rd.  Let’s stand together alongside our fellow Union members.

The Union and Frontier continue to meet in an effort to reduce contracting.  Fiber Splicers are going to be able to view and grab their own work. The use of Sales & Service contractors was reduced over the winter, but it appears they are being used more frequently again.  Please work any overtime you can, as every job we do is one less for scab contractors.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the United Way campaign. Due to our continued generosity, we have exceeded our goal and proven once again that Union Labor gives back to our community.
