Membership Updates:
Bargaining Update Frontier
The contract with Frontier is set to expire at midnight this upcoming Saturday. To date we’ve had 18 bargaining sessions and have agreements on almost nothing. The Company has not withdrawn or modified any of its proposals to Retiree Health Insurance, Active Health Insurance increases, reducing our bonus and modifying Contract Work Language, including the elimination of 10 hours of overtime when contractors are utilized in construction. The Union has held firm and rejected their proposals on these issues to date, including a proposal of No Contracting.
We will see what bargaining brings this week, but the parties are certainly far apart, and the Union remains committed to negotiating a fair agreement on your behalf.
