Tape Release 5/16/24
Membership and Retiree updates:
Termination CWA Retirement Plan:
The distribution forms filled out and collected by the Union have been processed. What does that mean? The checks are being issued for the selections that you made either Rollover to Frontier 401K, Cash or Traditional IRA. The Frontier 401K checks are being batched and forwarded to the Union Hall, those who selected a cash distribution and rollover to traditional IRA will have checks mailed directly to your house. This should happen over the next week. Please be on the lookout.
The Union is looking for 5-6 volunteers, actives or retirees, to help with landscaping around the Union Hall on Saturday Morning May 25th from 8:30 to 11:00 am. Please RSVP to the office if you can help out with some weeding, mulching, and planting of flowers.
The annual Ray Kanis Picnic is being held Wednesday, June 12th beginning about 11am at Harris Whalen Park in Penfield. Please RSVP to Denny Stratton at 737-1926 if you can make it.
The National Union has engaged a research firm who is contacting select Union members to participate in a discussion between May 21st thru the 23rd. The research firm is offering up to $200 to participate. This is a legitimate reach out as the CWA is doing a broad survey of its members to find out what is important to you.
I’ve taken several calls in regard to Motor Vehicle registrations as some say current registrations are expired. My advice is to contact your Coach and hold them accountable as to giving you direction and getting you a valid sticker for your windshield. I’ve reached out to Company reps with no response on the matter.
Bargaining with Frontier is set to resume next week, please respond to your mobilizers activity when called upon.
This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape and We are Union Strong.
