Membership updates:

For all participants in the CWA Local 1170 retirement plan, statements ending June 30th have been posted to the website for your review.  Overall investments for this quarter performed well.

The Retirees had a good turnout yesterday with about 60 retirees attending.  Upcoming events include the Labor Day parade where will be offering tickets for rides and picnic for SeaBreeze on Labor Day for those who march for $10 each.  Also, upcoming is the CWA 1170 Annual clambake which will take place Sunday September 24th at the Chili American Legion.  Tickets for retirees and spouses will be $40 Each, same as last year and $70 for non members.

Today I recently became aware from one of our retirees that he received a letter saying he owed Frontier money for overpayment of his bonus from last year.  If you should get such a letter please call me at the Union Hall to discuss.
