Tape Release 8-3-17
The Union listened to Frontier’s earnings call on Tuesday and it was difficult to get an assessment on their earnings due to accounting charges. Based on today’s drop in share price, it couldn’t have been all that positive.
The Flavin Scholarship Committee met this week and has awarded 17 scholarships this year. We were able to do this based on the success of last year’s and this year’s golf tournament, as well as support for the raffle. There is still time to get your raffle tickets in, as the prizes will be drawn at the golf tournament on August 12th.
The following are recipients of this year’s scholarships:
- Marquis Barbel, son of Frontier member Marquis Barbel
- Spencer Kennedy, son of Frontier member Sean Kennedy
- Dustin Conine, son of Frontier member Tom Conine
- Leanna Hess, daughter of Frontier member Mark Hess
- Skyler Ellis, daughter of Frontier member Carl Ellis
- Jake Ritzenthaler, son of Frontier member Todd Ritzenthaler
- Cierra Lowrie, grandchild of Town of Greece member Bernice Stidd
