I’m saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Retiree George Grant. George retired in 1995 with 42 years of service and was a PBX/IR Installer at the time of his retirement. George was always a very active member of Local 1170 serving in roles as a steward, executive board member, and bargaining committees. He continued to be active in retirement as a committee member for the retiree club. On behalf of the Union I want to extend our condolences to George’s wife Ginny, his family and friends. The following arrangements have been announced.

Monday, August 24th from 3 to 6pm at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd.
Funeral Service:
Tuesday, August 25th 11:30am at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd.
George will be greatly missed.
