Tape Release Tuesday September 27th, 2016
The Union has received a commitment from Frontier that they will honor the obligation of the contract in hiring the remaining Desk techs thus avoiding a grievance on the matter. Initially the Company had sent the Union notification that they wouldn’t be doing so due to the hiring freeze.
Today the Union will be presenting multiple grievances to Frontier in regards to call out and overtime bypasses created by the Sherburne call center. Updates with outcomes will be announced as we have new information.
Sunday’s clambake was attended by 280 retirees, members, and guests. I would like to thank our committee of Bruce Cotton, Patti Roberts, and Mark Semrau, as well as the volunteers for putting forth a great event!
Retirees, your annual Health care packages from Frontier will be arriving in October with the annual retiree health care meeting to take place in early November at W. Henrietta Rd. Please review carefully as their maybe some changes to the plans offered and the benefits covered.
I’m saddened to announce the passing of retiree Michael Hryncznyn. Mike retired in 1992 as a garage mechanic with 26 years of service. On behalf of the Union I want to extend our sympathies to Mike’s family and friends.
This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape the place where were Union and proud of it.
