Tape Release Monday August 1, 2016
The Company has notified the Union that on August 8th they will be converting from the Saturn system to M6 for the administration and record retention for all special service circuits. This conversion will have an impact on the work currently performed by our carrier work group. The Union will be meeting tomorrow internally with stewards from the carrier group to review what was presented and gather more information. A meeting for the entire work group will be called once we have more details. The tape will be updated with the details of the meeting notification.
I want to thank all who attended the Red Wing game and picnic Saturday night. We had over 170 members, retirees and family members attend.
I’m saddened to announce the passing of retiree Rodger Breedlove on July 28th. Rodger was a building service attendant with 36 years of service at the time of his retirement in 1992. On behalf of the Union I want to extend our sympathies to Rodger’s family and friends.
The Union would like to recognize Sales and Service tech David Chatley who worked out of the Nunda office in suburban. Dave’s begins his retirement today after 25 years of service. On behalf of the Union I want to thank Dave for his many years of membership to this Union.
Also, I would like to share that I ran into Sales and Service tech Tom Walczak this weekend and report that he is doing well. Tom is battling a very serious illness and looks like he is winning his battle and is looking forward to returning to work very soon.
This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape the place where were Union and proud of it.
