Tape Release Sunday August 29
As most of our members may have heard by now, the company has solicited some workgroups to work a scheduled tour on Labor Day. The company has met their obligation to the Union by giving advance notice of seven or more days.
While the Union understands the need to service our customers, it is our understanding that this scheduled tour is voluntary. As all members are aware, this is a Union Activity day. All Union Activity day rules regarding OT are in effect. In the event that OT is necessary to complete an emergency job, dispensation must be granted by one of the Union Officers PRIOR to the job being worked.
