Tape Release Tuesday, July 14th, 2015

Bargaining Update:

The Union presented the Company with a comprehensive package proposal, which addressed your issues of job security protections, wages and benefits.  The company rejected most of the proposal in its entirety with no counter proposals.  The Union is very concerned with the Company’s hard line positions and its lack of preparedness to bargain over benefits and wages.  Bargaining will resume tomorrow at the RIT Inn and conference center.

On Friday the Company reached out to your Union to seek help in getting people to work this past weekend to address the backlog of work.  The Union responded to the Company’s concerns and you stepped up to take care of our customers.  Do we get the same respect for your concerns?  After 20, 30, and 40 years on the job we don’t deserve to have our work transferred, contracted or moved to management to perform.  We know the customers are best served by those of you who’ve been trained, been loyal and continue to get the job done.  We will continue to fight on your behalf to protect what you’ve bargained and earned.

Stay United and prepared to mobilize for your contract.

This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape, the place where we fight for the respect you deserve.

And Up the Rebel!!
