A reminder this Thursday January 30th membership meetings are being held throughout the day. Meetings will be held at the Union Hall at 8:15am and 2:00pm.
The Main meeting will be held at 5:30pm at the Diplomat Party House. The agenda with the budget and other information was mailed out last week. This is a Union Activity Day for all members.
The Union, Judy Cheng, and the Company reached a settlement last week at the arbitration hearing involving the denial of severance benefits. Judy is being made whole to her satisfaction and an opportunity for a Network Tech to be recalled has been agreed to.
As part of the settlement, the Company has also committed to adding three new positions to the CNOC within the next 60 days as well.
Discussions have also been held with the Company to resolve two engineering clerks grievances that may lead to work being consolidated into Rochester for the employees in that work group.
The Company has recalled buildings equipment mechanic Paul Magliocco and has recalled a Sales and Service Tech to begin in February.
The Company will also be recalling a sales and service tech to begin in February.
