The following arrangements have been announced in regards to the passing of our Union Brother Michael Chomik.
The family is receiving friends on Friday, December 6th from 2-4 pm and 6-8pm at the Michael Yackiw Funeral Home, 1650 Empire Blvd. Webster, NY.
The Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 7th at the St. Josaphat’s Ukranian Catholic Church, 940 East Ridge Rd. Rochester, NY @ 9:30am with the interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Church Cemetery.
On behalf of the Union, I extend our sympathies to the Chomik Family. Mike was 60 years old at the time of his death. As I said on the tape, he fought a courageous fight against a terrible disease in pancreatic cancer. He never complained about his situation and carried himself with dignity that one could truly admire. He was very thankful to belong to a Union and represented the desk techs on the executive board. He will be missed very much.
Please take the time to count your blessings this Holiday Season as we all have a lot to be thankful for. Having men such as Mike Chomik as a part of our Union gives me reason to say thanks to everyone for being a Member of our Union.
This is Your President John Pusloskie, thanking you for calling your Union Tape the place where we fight for the respect you deserve.
