Tape Release Monday, July 1st, 2013
The National Labor Relations Board is at risk of being out of business this August due to the expiring terms of the existing board members. Your union is asking you to take less than two minutes to pick up the phone and dial 1-888-966-9824, which will transfer you to Senator Chuck Schumer’s office. Please tell the senator to vote for President Obama’s 5 nominees; 80 Million workers are depending on it. Flyers and requests have been sent to all executive board members and stewards for posting.
All Sales & Service Techs Action Alert:
Company supervisors are spot-checking your work to see if you are making your phone calls according to the Peace of Mind process. I advise you to take the time to make the calls to avoid any unnecessary coaching sessions or potential discipline.
I’m saddened to announce the passing of retiree James Quigley. There are no calling hours. A graveside memorial service is being held today at 11am at Pine Hill Cemetery, Route 251 in Rush.
On behalf of the Union, I extend our sympathies to Jim’s Family and Friends.
This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape the place where we fight for the respect you deserve.
