Tape Release: Wednesday March 13th
The term of the day is sequester. The act of politicians spewing misrepresentations on the cause of the budget deficit, thus burdening the middle class with unnecessary job cuts to the US Mail service, the military, and education and other services for the sake of protecting tax loopholes for the rich and making sure that fortune 500 companies like Verizon and GE pay no federal income taxes.
The St. Patrick’s day parade is this Saturday. Once again we will be the only labor Union in the community marching in the parade. Our line up location is on Meigs St. between Park Ave. and East Ave. We’re meeting beginning at 11am. Union St., the teacher’s Union hall, which is two blocks from our meeting location. The parade starts at 12:30pm. Join us for a great time. We will be gathering at Casey Jones on Ridgeway Ave. afterwards. This is a Union event for those who show up will not be charged overtime.
A Unit 1 meeting has been scheduled for Monday. This is a Union Activity Day for all members in this unit. All meetings are at the Union Hall 8:30am, 10am, 2pm, and 5:30pm.

The Union filed 11 grievances in the past week on behalf of Sales and Service techs who were issued coaching logs for not meeting service expectations. The Union continues to work on this process, with the stewards and the grievants to make sure your rights are protected and that you’re not held accountable for things beyond your control.
This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape, the place where we fight for the respect you deserve.
