Tape Release Friday December 7, 2012
I’m saddened to announce the passing of retiree Robert Shaw. Bob was an IR/PBX Tech with 35 years of service when he retired in 1987. On behalf of the Union, I want to extend our sympathies to Bob’s family and friends.
The arrangements are as follows.
Calling hours will be held this Sunday from 1-4pm @ The Harris Funeral Home on 570 Kings Highway S. Rochester, NY 14617
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11am at the Christ the King Chapel at 445 Kings highway. Rochester, NY 14617
I want to alleviate everyone’s anxiety in response to the comments published about Frontier’s CEO Maggie Wilderotter, that the Company is going to study the possibility of ending health care benefits in 2014 for employees. The Company has an obligation contractually to provide the benefits negotiated in the Contract. It would be a major violation if the Company unilaterally terminated them. The same goes for retirees, they retired under a contract that provides them coverage. We will certainly be keeping an eye on the legal developments concerning the new health care law.
This is your President John Pusloskie thanking you for calling your Union tape the place where we fight for the respect you deserve.
